Welcome to Railway
Railway Union is one of Ireland’s oldest rugby clubs, being founded in 1905. Whilst we are over 100 years old, we are a ‘young’ player-run club. Our executive management committee and various sub-committees are made up of players and members who are in their 20s and early 30s.
Why Join Railway?
Our aim is to be an inclusive, community-based rugby club and have our club caters for players of all abilities, backgrounds and nationalities.
In our club, all players are equal, regardless of their ability or background. This is one of our core principles. There is no ‘hierarchy’ at Railway, all teams and all players mix together freely.
