Child Protection and Child Welfare is of the utmost importance at Railway and as a club we are committed to establishing appropriate policies, procedures and the awareness of the responsibilities shared by us all when it comes to Child Protection and Child Welfare.
We follow and adhere to the guidance of the IRFU and implement the IRFU Safeguarding Policy.
We have also implemented codes of conduct for players, parents, coaches, spectators and referee and it is expected that any player, parent, coach, spectator or referee in Railway would make themselves aware of these codes and agree to adhere by them.
It is all of our responsibility to ensure the best practice is implemented in Railway. If you have a concern, you can contact Railway’s Child Welfare Officer Claire Byrne at girlsrugby@railwayunionrfc.com
